Do you want to work practically, be outdoors in the fresh air, and see the results of your work every day? From April 15 to September 30, we at Sölvesborgshem need a little extra reinforcement and are now looking for two environmental caretakers.

Job Responsibilities

As an environmental caretaker, you are an important part of everyday life in our residential areas and one of Sölvesborgshem's faces to the public. Together with your team, you ensure that yards, green areas, environmental houses, and waste stations are well-maintained and inviting.

The tasks vary with the season and can involve everything from cleaning and weeding to lawn mowing, pruning, and planting. Much is done in collaboration with colleagues, but you are also expected to take your own initiatives, see what needs to be done, and work independently.

We are looking for someone who is practically inclined, enjoys active and physical work, and is willing to take responsibility where needed. With us, you will have a varied job with daily contact with both tenants and colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school education and preferably knowledge or experience in green area maintenance or similar. If you have a few years of experience from a service profession where interaction and responsibility have been important, we see it as a significant plus.

It is an advantage if you are accustomed to working with the machines and tools used in daily work, such as riding lawnmowers, trimmers, and brush cutters. Brush cutter certification (RA) and chainsaw certification A, B, or E are advantageous but not required.

For the position, you need to have a B driver's license. If you also have a BE license or an extended B license, it is a plus.

The position is a full-time seasonal employment from April 15 to September 30, with working hours scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.
